Movie Update

Christmas is almost upon us! .. does time fly or what!

Things are moving.. Not as fast as I'd like them, but they're moving.

I'm in the midst of editing and have been trying to work on a title sequence for this beast. The footage is coming together well and I can't wait to watch it after the music is added.

Eldon and I appreciate everyones patience with us getting this done... there is a light at the end of this tunnel!

We'll try to post updates a little more frequently than we have and we'll also see what we can post in the media section in the meantime for you guys.

Hey all,

A couple of months back, maybe about six to nine months, I came across this video of J.J Abrams. For those of you who don't know who I'm talking about, he created Alias and Lost, most recently, Fringe. He is also reviving the Star Trek franchise by bring out a new moviein May 2009.

But I digress...

This talk was hosted by TED.com. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. J.J. traces his love for the unseen mystery –- a passion that’s evident in his films and TV shows -- back to its magical beginnings.

A real inspiration to see.

Hey all,

Sorry to say, but I have kinda neglected this site. It's no that I wanted to, it's just that I haven't had the time. Life has been so busy. I've been recently laid off from my job, so I'm now working from home most of the time. Of course, four kids also keep me busy. I'm doing a system-wide reboot of my life and it's been crazier than ever.

I'm hoping by the weekend, my colleague, Robert and I can nail down a game plan with Victimsight and have some more content for you guys as soon as possible. Until then, I'm going to provide you with some videos that I made recently. I hope you like them.

Fanfilms :: Bigger Than You Think

About a year after my wife and I were married, (so that would be about 10 years ago) I was given a CD with a whole bunch of 'stuff' on it, by some guy in our church. It had sheet music and guitar tabs and pictures of who knows what. It had old commercials and funny clips and such. It also had a little known video called 'Troops'. Troops is considered to be the fanfilm that began the craze of fanfilms. Now, granted, fanfilms have been around since who knows when, (I know the Doctor Who fans have been making them like mad since the 80s) but this was my first fanfilm.
